We are privileged to live in the greatest nation that man has created on earth. This nation was created by men that believed that man was born with unalienable rights granted by God. These men created our Founding documents which, for the first time in history, gave Government limited powers. We became a nation of laws, not of men. Unfortunately, over time the people incrementally allowed the government take more and more control over their daily lives. We now live in very tumultuous times. At a time when the economy is in a severe recession due to excessive debt, our Government has decided throw trillions of dollars that it doesn't have at the problem. All time, ignoring the fact we are already faced with an unfunded liability for future entitlement spending of nearly $50 trillion dollars.
This problem is exacerbated by the fact the an admitted Marxist will put his hand on the bible and swear to defend our Constitution - a Constitution that the current administration as treated little better than toilet paper.
As I see it, there is only one solution to this problem. We need to start to hold our Government to it's Constitutional mandated responsibilities and nothing else. We need to stand against judicial activism and insist on a Federal judiciary that will interpret the Constitution as written.
Furthermore, we need make sure that the younger generations are educated about the Founding Fathers and the documents that they created.
I am going to dedicate my efforts to write about Government excesses, unconstitutional laws, judicial activism, and every opportunity to make meaningful change towards a Government that the Founding Fathers would be proud of. So that we may one day achieve the ideal of the "Shining City on a Hill" that Ronald Reagan spoke of so fondly.
